In 1987 at age 26, Bill Rucci founded the firm that would eventually be known as Rucci, Bardaro & Falzone. The following year, Paul Bardaro, age 27, joined Rucci. Sal Falzone joined the firm in 2000.
Now approaching it's 30th anniversary, RBF has become one of the largest CPA firms in the Boston area, according to the Boston Business Journal.
In 2008, RBF acquired the Lexington CPA firm Mathias Barnes & Henshaw.
Then in early 2016, the firm acquired Waltham-based Jensen Malley & Company. Inc., a consulting firm formerly associated with Malley & Franey Financial Group. The move combined the two firms’ client rosters under the RBF banner, and added eight professionals to RBF’s staff rolls, for a total of 35 employees.
At the same time, RBF’s partner group expanded to six with the addition of Jack Malley(a founder and managing partner of Malley & Franey), Ron Baptista and Vinny Botta.
Today, RBF retains many of the customer-first benefits of a smaller firm, while at the same time providing the techical depth and industry expertise of a much larger CPA firm.
